- Provide real-time virtual ASL interpretation for students in classroom and school-related settings
- Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Support student participation and accessibility during instruction and school activities
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical interpreting standards
- Collaborate with school staff and special education teams as needed
- Must hold active certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC)
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred (or state-required equivalent)
- RID certification preferred
- Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ASL and Deaf culture
- Comfortable using virtual platforms and technology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer with webcam and microphone
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Compliance with Georgia state and district requirements
- Flexible remote work environment
