We Are looking For:

We are seeking a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion and experience driving new business acquisition in the Louisiana Education/Government/Municipalities market. This person will join a growing Public Sector Field Sales team and will cover the Louisiana territory. The Account Executive will play an integral role in developing the territory and will focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy resulting in new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Conduct strategic outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, in-person field events, and online outreach to generate leads.

Perform site surveys and product demonstrations.

Attend industry trade shows and follow up with leads.

Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.

Build an intimate understanding of security products and their place in the industry.

Manage the full sales cycle: Prospect for new customers, host online demos, create proposals, and close deals.

Maintain accurate pipeline management and contribute to forecasting efforts to ensure goal alignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.

Possess a hunter sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful, and have a proven track record of prospecting, closing new clients, and landing accounts.

Highly effective communication skills, with ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills.

Tenacity, drive to learn, and a self-motivated attitude.

Must have strong cold calling skills, networking skills, and managing accounts.

Technical knowledge in video surveillance and access control areas is a plus.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple priorities & achieve deadlines.

Must have excellent presentation skills and professional image.

BS/BA degree preferred but not required.

Knowledge in La. State Purchasing & or RFP bidding preferred but not required.

Compensation:

Estimated Annual Pay Range $65,000—$200,000 USD (salary + commission)
