Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid Onsite minimum Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Monday or Friday onsite when events are scheduled
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract (contract-to-perm potential)
- Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential to extend)
- Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary
This Administrative Assistant role provides administrative support for the Manager of Associate Engagement at a leading off-price apparel and home fashion retailer. The position is fully hands-on during events and requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to questions and requests and researches information
- Interfaces with a variety of internal and external individuals
- Involves appropriate associates from other departments as needed when planning an event
- Provides secretarial and administrative support for department
- Monitors department email box and responds to inquiries quickly
- Organizes and distributes Service Awards gift packets
- Prepares various routine and complex reports filling in the appropriate information needed for events
- Oversees and monitors administrative projects and initiatives
- Fully hands on during events to ensure successful execution while problem solving issues as they arise
- Performs other duties as required or directed
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone manner, solid written and verbal communication skills, and customer service orientation
- Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn, take direction well, and be a team player
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
Required Experience
- 12 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting required
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Will not be required to work over 40 hours per week
- Local candidates only
