HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurosurgery for a travel nursing job in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements: As required by facility
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)

• Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only; NIH (can be completed at orientation)

• Preferred Certifications:
• Years of Experience: min 1 year
• Float Requirements: As required by facility, will float to Med Surg and Progressive

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 17
• Patient Ratios: 6:1, estimates, not guarantees
• Equipment: Customary, including IV pumps
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Must have charge experience OR be willing to learn and take on Charge duties
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Neuro and Stroke experience highly preferred
• Type of Patients on Unit: Medical and Surgical Neuro – Parkinson’s, Stroke, Lumbar, etc. No trauma
• Personality Fit: Good team worker, good communication skills, attentive and caring of patient outcomes

Auto Offer Guidelines:

• Contract Duration – 13 (up to 26 weeks upon request)

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours – 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate

• Requested time off – up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved (anything more would be subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate and time would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment)

• Weekends – standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation)

• Holidays – candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major summer (Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor Day) or winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day)

Additional Information:

Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week for orientation.
