HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Garland, TX
Join HMD Trucking as an experienced OTR Team CDL A Dry Van Driver, responsible for transporting HAZMAT freight across the nation. We provide strong mileage pay starting at 77 CPM Split, with an additional 4 CPM for hazmat, allowing for weekly averages of around 5,000 miles and bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
What We Offer:
- Modern trucks, less than 3 years old, equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping quarters.
- Dependable in-house maintenance support.
- Home every two weeks with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Requirements:
- CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement is required.
- At least 12 months of relevant driving experience.
- A strong commitment to safety and performance.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Clean Inspection Bonus: $100
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
