Medical Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for casual/per diem work in Seattle, Washington. The role involves performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, ensuring specimen quality, and maintaining compliance with established protocols to support diagnostic testing and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
- Generate accurate and timely test results while maintaining detailed documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure safe work environment compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Compensation: $34.25–$52.14 per hour
