Position Overview

An established and expanding dermatology practice in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced and compassionate Board-Certified Dermatologist to join a busy, patient-centered team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in general medical dermatology and the ability to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions, ranging from acute and chronic disorders to benign and malignant skin diseases.

This role is well-suited for a physician who values collaboration, prioritizes patient education, and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based dermatologic care across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of skin conditions
• Provide a collaborative Supervising Physician role, as applicable
• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient records
• Utilize EMR systems effectively
• Educate patients on preventive skincare and treatment options
• Ensure compliance with state laws, HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
• Contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Board-Certified in Dermatology
• Active Florida medical license
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Strong clinical expertise in general dermatology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and empathize with patients
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset
