I am reaching out regarding a Lead Security Engineer / Hands-on CISO opportunity with OpenKyber, an IT staffing and technology consulting company supporting public sector and enterprise organizations across cybersecurity, ERP, data & analytics, cloud, program management, and managed services. This is a Hybrid opportunity based in Mt. View, CA , with local candidates preferred/required and an in-person interview . Job Overview Title: Lead Security Engineer / Hands-on CISO

Experience Required: 8+ years in security direction, architecture, implementation, and enterprise deployments
Key Skills: Security Architecture, Platform Security, Cloud/DevSecOps, GenAI DaaS Security
Role Summary The role requires a hands-on security leader who can define security architecture, guide implementation, and personally implement critical security capabilities across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience leading platform security architecture, designing secure deployment patterns for Fortune 1000 customers, and embedding security into Cloud, DevOps, and GenAI engineering teams. Strong experience with GenAI DaaS Security and exposure to both start-up and large enterprise environments are required.
