Let's grow together!We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst who will leverage their expertise to help drive our continued growth. The ideal candidate brings experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, financial statements and analytics, and SOX controls. This role is perfect for someone who is very organized and a strong self-starter. Someone who has attention to detail, natural intellectual curiosity, a mindset of constant improvement, and problem-solving skills would be a perfect fit. This is a hybrid position based out of our Grand Rapids, Michigan location.As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, some of your job duties will include:Support SEC reporting processes, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, among other filingsResearch and document technical accounting assessments for routine and ad hoc transactions that impact financial statementsMaintain accounting for debt, stock compensation, and other relevant areas to support closing the booksDesign and execute SOX controls to align with internal control requirementsPrepare financial statements, analytics, tie-outs, and other deliverables to support reporting requirementsComplete internal reporting for leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basisPerform regular analysis of actual versus planned resultsWork directly with internal and external auditors, providing workpapers and control documentation for assigned accounts and processesServe as a direct point of contact to answer questions and support management and other internal stakeholders cross functionally through analyzing financial informationTo be successful as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will have the following experiences and skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferredMinimum of 3 years of accounting or auditing experienceExperience with a Big 4 firm is strongly preferredHigh level of aptitude in Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational and both written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional drive, work ethic and initiativeDesire to learn and a continuous improvement mindsetMust be able to work collaboratively and operate in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to be independently motivatedIf you are looking to further your career in a pioneering and evolving industry, apply today for our Senior Financial Reporting Analyst position.
