Organization: The Downtown Denver Islamic Center (The DDIC) Location(s): Remote with visit to the pantry and Masjid sites as needed Downtown Site: 2952 N. Downing Street, Denver, CO 80205 East Site / Facility: 6700 E. Warren Avenue, Unit E, Denver, CO 80224 Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Pay Range: $20 – $25 Reports To: Program (Care) Director Collaborates With: Imam, Pantry Manager, Family Navigation Manager, others as needed Position Overview The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and retaining volunteers for the food pantry, family navigation and other program operations across all DDIC locations. As the primary point of contact for individual volunteers, youth groups, community partner organizations, as well as corporate volunteers this role ensures our distributions are well-staffed, efficient, and welcoming. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic community builder with exceptional organizational skills, high emotional intelligence, and a deep dedication to dignified community service.
