Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff. Responsibilities Operate and maintain the forklift for material handling, delivery and pick up. Prepare products and materials for shipment. Load, unload, and stage products and materials. Must be able to complete forklift inspection. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Perform all tasks while following safe practices and utilizing proper PPE Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the day Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety standards while operating equipment and handling materials. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury Qualifications Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role is preferred. Mechanical knowledge of forklifts and material handling equipment is advantageous. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as warehouse management systems, is beneficial. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on safety practices in the workplace. Must be able to lift or pull 50lbs without restrictions. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Estimated Salary Range $18.00- $20.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
