Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for administrative and technical support related to purchasing and inventory activities through accurate record keeping and tracking, reporting, order documentation, preparation, and receipt of materials. Duties and Responsibilities Provide Administrative Support for the Procurement Department. Create, Prepare and Submit Purchase Order Requisitions. Create, Update and Maintain Departmental Spreadsheets. Maintain Monthly Reports. Maintain Inventory of Companies Accessory Products. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures Binder. Other Duties as Required by the Procurement Manager. Required Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in procurement. Must exhibit strong organizational skills. Possess the ability to handle multiple projects at once. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Excel, Power Point, and Word). SAP knowledge a plus. Required Education and Certification Associate’s degree or two years of related experience Working Conditions The work environment of the Procurement Specialist is primarily an onsite position in a climate-controlled environment. The Procurement Assistant can expect the following working conditions: Continuous sitting, typing, reading, listening, and conversing with others in a close contact environment.
