Director, Clinical Business Operations

Rapport Therapeutics seeks a Director of Clinical Business Operations to lead financial planning, vendor management, and portfolio governance for clinical programs. The role involves building scalable operations infrastructure, overseeing budgets and contracts, and partnering across functions to support the advancement of precision neuromedicines in Boston.
Responsibilities
- Lead business operations function overseeing budgets, contracts, vendor partnerships, and portfolio governance
- Develop, manage, and monitor clinical operations budgets with forecasting and spend tracking
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, statements of work, and consulting agreements
- Establish portfolio-level reporting, dashboards, and governance processes for performance visibility
- Partner with clinical leadership to evaluate risks, priorities, and resource needs for program support
Requirements
- Leadership experience managing clinical operations budgets and financial planning
- Expertise in vendor contract negotiation, management, and governance
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement scalable business processes and systems
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills with finance, legal, and clinical teams
- Experience with portfolio-level reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and inspection-readiness standards
