The Calibration Technician ensures they are calibrated correctly and provide accurate measurements. Provides support to the engineering and manufacturing functions as it relates to calibration.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform internal calibration of equipment in accordance with the quality system requirements, that demonstrates products manufactured by Nordson EFD meet the requirements of end users and the company.* Coordinate external calibration of equipment in accordance with the quality system requirements, that demonstrates products manufactured by Nordson EFD meet the requirements of end users and the company.* Maintain the calibration system in accordance to the established frequency.* Perform routine equipment maintenance.* Maintain calibration equipment and supplies.* Ensure equipment is safe for operation and suggest upgrades when appropriate.* Backup incoming inspection as needed.* Perform all other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience Requirements*** High School Diploma or equivalent is required* A minimum of 2 years or calibration experience or experience with measuring equipment* ASQ CCT Certification preferred* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Adobe)* Competency with calibration software**Preferred Skills and Abilities*** The ability to communicate using English, as needed, to effectively communicate results and issues through oral and written communications* Working knowledge of ISO9001-2015* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented* Energetic self starter* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment* Experience using ERP software, SAP preferred* Experience using EIQ Software is a plus**Working Conditions and Physical Demands****Lab/Manufacturing environment.** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
