Position Summary

A Brain Health Specialist at Harmonized Brain Centers plays a key and pivotal role in administering and overseeing care utilizing LENS Neurofeedback, Low Level Light Therapy, Physical Vascular Therapy, Brain Supplements and Brain Health Coaching. A Brain Health Specialist is not only proficient in these modalities but also serves as a compassionate guide for clients on their journey to optimal brain health. They also celebrate clients progress as they move from surviving to truly thriving.

● As good listeners, Brain Health Specialists meet each client where he/she is on their healing path, and offer guidance and tools to help clients identify and meet their goals. They explain modalities, coach clients towards meaningful change and interpret client’s brain maps so that clients have a good grasp of the work that is being done, and their role in the treatment plan.

● Brain Health Specialists are aware of how the brain and body work together to affect all body systems, and have a good grasp on the common issues that our clients are seeking to resolve.

● Brain Health Specialists possess a deep understanding of the cutting-edge technologies and natural processes used to improve brain function and overall well-being.

● Brain Health Specialists understand and utilize activities, exercises, and tools in their practice that can be used to help clients make behavior, thought, and response pattern changes in the brain.

● Brain Health Specialists efficiently manage data and progress tracking, ensuring that each client's unique treatment plan is followed and adjusted as needed.

A Brain Health Specialist will become an excellent communicator of the care we provide at Harmonized Brain Centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to a warm, supportive clinic environment by greeting and checking in clients with professionalism.
• Build authentic, trusting relationships with clients while maintaining professional distance and detailed records and tracking progress in our systems.
• Guide clients through the 12 session best brain practices protocol including providing LENS biofeedback to support behavior modification, resiliency and lasting change per facility protocols.
• Assist clients on/off the BEMER and apply the low light laser treatments, provide client resources and set up multi-media presentations per facility protocols.
• Educate clients and their families so they understand brain basics, the modalities provided, goals of care, their individual results, and their path forward allowing individual choice and autonomy.
• Educate clients and their families on supplementation options, and at-home strategies that reinforce their in-office progress.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; assist with the clinic calendar. Print or email client documents, schedules or receipts.
• Assist with billing, payments, collecting/processing client forms and documentation
• Maintain an organized and confidential client records (electronic and paper)
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy and confidentiality.
• Support marketing, community outreach, and referral coordination
• Ensure the facility areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
• Collaborate closely with fellow brain health specialists and the administrative assistant team to ensure seamless high quality care across locations.
• Handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, unless special arrangements are made; Associate’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling software (experience with Jane EMR) is preferred, but training is provided
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a heart for helping others
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
