Configuration Management Analyst I

OverviewSCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join our team! In this position you will support in a Gun Weapons System (GWS) laboratory environment. The successful candidate will maintain and control access to the MK160 Lab equipment and monitor respective building infrastructure as a whole. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.SCCI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, 401k with Company Match, time off consisting of 2 weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of sick/personal leave, and 11 paid Holidays.Responsibilities:Utilize and maintain software applications within the Jira environment for lab scheduling purposesMaintain daily Lab Reservation display system to provide accurate up to-date schedule informationServe as scheduling liaison between the MK 160 Lab Team and other MK 160 members for programmatic needsServe as Alternate Custodian in maintaining the integrity and access control of the secure roomCoordinate with NSWC Dahlgren Base Support and occasional outside personnel with infrastructure maintenance repairsMaintain software applications within the Jira environment for all infrastructure maintenanceCollaborate with MK 160 Hardware Team to ensure all safety related matters in all the lab spaces are in compliance with OSHA and NSWC Dahlgren guidelinesCommunicate to MK 160 Lab Team all GWS lab related issues reported by members of the MK 160 TeamProvide metrics as requested based on lab utilization and/or infrastructure incidentsEssential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security ClearanceHigh school diplomaKnowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniquesAbility to be proactive and self-driven to deliver high quality results in a fast pace environmentHardware/Electronics Technician Certification or Equivalent Experience or TrainingAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentSelf-motivated to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision when requiredAbility to plan and coordinate individual assignments to meet project goalsAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingPreferred Skills and Experience:Familiar with the DoD Acquisition Lifecycle and Systems Engineering processesAbility to write procedures and validate technical processesBasic Unix command line and scripting experience, shell programming knowledgePrefer Basic Python Programming experienceBasic network switch configurationSCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of Employees and their families.
