Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Valid plumbing license or certification as required by the state of employment.
• Proven experience working as a plumbing technician or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications such as backflow prevention, gas fitting, or medical gas piping.
• Experience with advanced plumbing technologies including water treatment systems and energy-efficient fixtures.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or plumbing-specific software.
• Strong customer service skills and experience working directly with clients.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery or specialized plumbing equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Diagnose plumbing issues using specialized tools and equipment, and develop effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to provide clear communication regarding project status, timelines, and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
