Kinesiologist for Hand Annotation [Remote]

Apply your anatomy and biomechanics expertise to create precise hand landmark annotations that support the training of advanced AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on interpreting complex hand movements, poses, and interactions across image and video data. Key Responsibilities

• Annotate hand and finger landmarks using MediaPipe-style hand topology while following defined protocols and tolerance thresholds.
• Identify and label anatomical joints, including the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip landmarks.
• Use visual reasoning to infer and accurately annotate joints or landmarks that are partially occluded or difficult to see.
• Interpret varied hand poses, orientations, perspectives, and object interactions to produce consistent annotations across image and video datasets.
• Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to maintain quality at scale.

• Strong expertise in anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, or a closely related discipline.
• Excellent attention to detail, visual reasoning, and image and video analysis skills.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and guidelines consistently.
• Experience with annotation and MediaPipe-style hand topology is relevant.
• No prior AI experience is required.
