Job Description Position: MLT ASCP/AMT – NIGHTS #26-16371 Location: Knoxville, TN Compensation: $1,052 – $1,079 per week (includes weekly stipends and base pay) Schedule: 12‑hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), 3 days per week; alternating weekends. Employment: Onsite contract, start date 6/29/2026, 13‑week duration. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosis and monitoring of disease states. Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing. Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Assist in preparing samples for testing and perform a variety of laboratory tasks. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent; bachelor’s degree and certification as a medical technologist preferred. One year of experience in chemistry, hematology, or blood bank. Valid MLT certification via TN State licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent; TN State license preferred. Alternatively, CLIA‑eligible and a high‑school graduate with military medical laboratory training (minimum 50 weeks) and the Medical Laboratory Specialist occupational specialty.
