Staff Pharmacist

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: - Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness - Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients - Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety - Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care - Participate in medication reconciliation processes - Conduct medication utilization reviews to identify opportunities for improvement - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards - Maintain accurate and complete patient records Skills: - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology - Experience in critical care, ICU, or other specialized areas - Completion of a pharmacy residency program preferred - Proficiency in aseptic technique for sterile compounding - Familiarity with pain management strategies and medications - Understanding of medical management principles in a hospital setting Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
