As a Security Officer Full Time New York Licensed Route Driver in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
