Responsible for: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Minimum education required: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Minimum experience required: 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Minimum licensure/certification required by law: Depending on the education held above, one of the following is required:
RN- Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Additional qualifications: BCLS and ACLS
