Occupational Therapist / OT

Overview We provide personalized, goal‑driven occupational therapy outside of institutional settings, bringing services into the client’s home, work, or community environment to promote independence. Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans. Re‑assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences. Conduct discharge evaluations and make recommendations for home and community safety. Communicate patient needs, progress and care coordination to the entire treatment team, physicians, clients, and families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Provide therapy in real‑life settings such as kitchens, grocery stores, outdoors, and workplaces. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist. Current CPR certification. Minimum one year of OT experience, preferably with complex neurological diagnoses. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient transfer up to 100 lbs, following safety procedures. Ability to perform fine motor tasks, maintain visual acuity, and walk or stand for extended periods. Benefits Flexible, self‑created schedule set by the therapist.
