Overview Regal Cinemas Strawbridge 12 - Floor Staff - $12.77 - Free Tickets & Concessions Discount Job Category : Floor Staff - Theatre Requisition Number : REGAL038162 Location: Showing 1 location Responsibilities Based on theatre needs and/or employee availability, team members are classified as variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular or full-time hourly employees. Primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Duties may include working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Maintaining regular and consistent attendance Handling emergency situations when called upon General cleaning duties Compliance with company dress code Concession (Essential Duties & Responsibilities) Operate POS system and manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and coupons; manage concession stock inventory Promote the Regal Crown Club program Operate, prepare and clean concession equipment Comply with local, state and federal food safety laws Adhere to breaks and meal period requirements Ensure alcohol certification and training are current where applicable If selling alcohol, be of legal age to sell/serve according to laws Read and understand training materials on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination Usher (Essential Duties & Responsibilities) Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable Assist with crowd control and seating guidance Enforce MPAA rating system Conduct in-theatre inspections to monitor picture/sound quality and safety Report problems or unusual situations to management Assist with in-auditorium concession sales as directed Clean auditoriums after shows and maintain restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned Benefits Team members receive free movie passes and discounted concessions at Regal locations. Education/Experience: Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress toward completion is required. If the theatre sells alcohol and duties include selling/serving alcohol, complete legally required state/local training and obtain required certificates. Complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University. Language Ability: Possess good public speaking, listening, and clear communication. Math Ability: Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify/correct errors. Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate information, consider alternatives, and act under pressure as needed. Personal Skills: Excellent communication with customers, co-workers and management; set goals, manage time, and priorities. Physical Demands: Stand/walk/sit; use hands; reach with arms; talk or hear. May climb/balance/kneel/crouch/crawl and lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception.
