Craft tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing immediate challenges while promoting long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing improvements.

Implement personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on language development, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing issues.

Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Educate patients and families, equipping them with the necessary tools to foster progress outside of therapy sessions.

Provide support for inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain continuity in patient care.

Keep thorough and timely records that comply with state, federal, and organizational policies.

Commit to continual learning by staying updated with the latest developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaborative practices.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified.

Currently licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York.

ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in implementing evidence-supported treatments for a full spectrum of ages, with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired challenges in speech, language, and swallowing.

Exceptional communication skills that facilitate connections with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
