Pathologist Opportunity in Meridian, Mississippi

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our collaborative team serving a key regional hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. This full-time, hospital-based role offers a rewarding mix of general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology responsibilities within a collegial environment. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented physician with excellent diagnostic and communication skills.

This position is eligible for J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship, if needed.

  • Moderate-to-high volume pathology service supporting a 400+ bed medical center
  • Mix of surgical pathology, cytopathology, and CP duties (blood bank, microbiology, chemistry oversight)

Key Responsibilities:

  • General surgical pathology and cytopathology case sign-out
  • Frozen section and intraoperative consultation services
  • Clinical pathology coverage and oversight responsibilities
  • Participation in tumor boards and clinical meetings
  • Commitment to maintaining high diagnostic accuracy and service standards

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Eligible for Mississippi medical license
  • Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and organizational skills
