Pathologist Opportunity in Meridian, Mississippi
PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our collaborative team serving a key regional hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. This full-time, hospital-based role offers a rewarding mix of general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology responsibilities within a collegial environment. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented physician with excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
This position is eligible for J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship, if needed.

About the Practice:
- Moderate-to-high volume pathology service supporting a 400+ bed medical center
- Mix of surgical pathology, cytopathology, and CP duties (blood bank, microbiology, chemistry oversight)

Key Responsibilities:
- General surgical pathology and cytopathology case sign-out
- Frozen section and intraoperative consultation services
- Clinical pathology coverage and oversight responsibilities
- Participation in tumor boards and clinical meetings
- Commitment to maintaining high diagnostic accuracy and service standards
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
- Eligible for Mississippi medical license
- Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and organizational skills
