We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong general-ledger and financial-statement experience who can perform financial statement analysis, solve accounting problems, and help clients understand their finances. Over the last four decades, our company has grown from a one-woman bookkeeping service into a respected accounting firm providing controller-level accounting to a wide range of organizations nationwide. With approximately 30 employees, we are one of the largest non-CPA accounting firms in the region.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Prepare and analyze financial statements Manage general ledger activity and reconciliations Perform month-end closing processes Do budgeting and forecasting Provide full-cycle accounting services Work directly with clients to meet their accounting and financial-reporting needs Perform controller-level functions appropriate to your experience The variety of clients, industries, and assignments keeps the work interesting and provides opportunities to expand your accounting knowledge.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field Must-Have Experience: At least five years of substantial general ledger accounting experience Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment Ability to manage multiple client responsibilities in an organized, professional environment Nice-to-Have: nonprofit experience We are not a CPA firm, so CPA certification is not required. And we don’t do income taxes.
