Key Responsibilities Animal Care
- Feed and provide fresh water to all animals
- Walk dogs regularly throughout the day
- Monitor appetite, urination, defecation, and behavior
- Report any abnormalities to medical staff immediately
- Provide comfort and attention to animals
- Bathe pets as directed
- Clean kennels, cages, runs, and hospital areas
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital
- Restock treatment and exam areas
- Maintain indoor and outdoor facility cleanliness
- Transport patients within the hospital
- Assist with safe animal restraint when needed
- No medical procedures or treatments
- No client communication regarding medical care
- No medication handling or administration
- No diagnostics or sample collection
- Experience working with animals preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling animals of all sizes
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
