Shop Mechanic

Mechanic PositionThe Mechanic position supports the branch, and client, in all maintenance and repair of industrial equipment needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment maintenance and repair needs of the branch is conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within our service department and beyond.Primary Duties:Performs maintenance and repairs of all rental equipmentInspects and tests all equipment to ensure safe operation prior to customer deliveryAct as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment maintenance and repairTrouble shoot all rental equipment for most efficient way to get equipment back onlineProduce all required service tickets and/or documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely mannerCommunicates with the team for ordering and stocking of needed parts, equipment, and accessoriesContinuous growth of knowledge for all Company products, inventory, and delivery capabilitiesPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned by ManagementSkills Required:Must have 2 –5 years' experience working as a service technician on rental equipment including – dirt / aerial / wheeled & track unitsMust have your own toolsMust be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projectsMust be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditionsMust be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.4-Horn Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Company.
