Production Operator

Manufacturing Production OperatorDuration: 0-6+ months (Temp to Hire) Shift: 7:00am start initially but will move to 8am within about 6-8 weeks. OT and weekends as needed (Mon-Fri). Will initially be packing boxes and then transition into machine operation. Work environment is dusty and loud. Must be comfortable working in this type of manufacturing environment. Reliability and attendance are extremely important seeking candidates who will show up, work hard, and are interested in a long-term opportunity.What you'll be doing:Set up, operate, and clean production equipmentInspect products and monitor machines during productionPackage finished goods and maintain accurate recordsFollow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organizedReport equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisorMeet production goals for quality and efficiencyAssist with inventory counts and general site maintenanceSupport other tasks as neededWhat we're looking for:No experience necessary well train you!Basic English skills (written and verbal)Ability to follow instructions and shift priorities quicklyReliable, punctual, and positive attitudeHigh school diploma or GED is a plusOSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plusComfortable with basic computer tasks and simple mathTeam player with a strong focus on safety and qualityPrevious production or warehouse experience is a bonusWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Active, hands-on role in a busy production areaExposed to noise, dust, non-hazardous chemicals, and moving machinerySafety gear providedFrequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs)Repetitive hand and foot movementsGood vision required for close-up and peripheral tasks
