Job Title: Senior AccountantClient Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) services include full-service CFO Advisory Services; controller, bookkeeping, vendor bill processing and payment, customer invoicing, payroll processing and tax reporting, and sales tax preparation. In this role, you will be a member of our CAAS group accountable for providing Senior Accountant-level accounting services, including processing payables and receivables, and various other accounting operations for assigned clients.We offer flexibility in the workplace. The position is located in our Ithaca, NY office.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the responsibilities of assigned CAAS transactional staffOversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoicesOversee accounts receivable invoices and application of paymentsManage payroll processing and reportingPrepare and file sales tax returnsPerform accounting system cleanupsAssist with the month-end closing process for assigned clientsQualifications:BS in Accounting or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in accountingPrior supervisory experience requiredExperience with QuickBooks preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPointPossess excellent communication skillsMust have a high level of attention to detail and accuracyPossess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAble to manage multiple priorities and workflowCommitment to excellence and high standardsSalary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearCompensation & BenefitsThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.
