Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Incident Commander with high integrity and professionalism to collaborate with Site Supervisors and Area Managers within a security operations setting, providing emergency response and acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients. Responsibilities Respond to emergency events, medical and non‑medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests in a timely manner. Monitor camera feeds, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Access Control Systems (ACS) to identify and neutralize threats before they escalated. Conduct ongoing site risk assessments and provide actionable intelligence to leadership for high‑level decision making. Maintain “eyes on the ground” for incident verification, implementing specialized physical protocols such as two‑swipe entry and strictly controlled access points. Act as the primary dispatcher and communication hub between the GSOC and physical response teams during critical incidents. Deliver advanced detection capabilities by merging digital alarm monitoring with physical security patrols (foot and vehicle). Oversee badge printing, credentialing, and technical security integrators to ensure the integrity of client perimeters. Conduct incident reports on accidents, suspicious activities, and system vulnerabilities, maintaining a high level of situational awareness. Provide low‑profile physical security for assigned clients, promoting safety and discretion while conducting vulnerability assessments. Maintain a high level of physical fitness, a professional personal appearance, and a thorough understanding of today’s security technology across all platforms. Qualifications Eligible for employment in the United States. Minimum age 18 per state licensing guidelines. Pass an extensive background check and drug screening. Live within driving distance of the job location. At least 3+ years of physical security experience. Current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for a guard card. High school degree or equivalent. Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels. Good judgment and ability to make timely and sound decisions. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT) before the scheduled start date (reasonable accommodations may be provided). Proficiency in CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages. Desired / Optional Current CCW or firearms permits for potential transition to armed agent status. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, or a related field. Prior Military or Law Enforcement (ODO) experience. Technical certifications such as TECC/TCCC, NREMT licensure, or advanced tactical medical integration. Experience with Executive Protection, anti‑terrorism protocols, or high‑threat driving. Experience with overseas protection assignments and international travel logistics. Compensation & Schedule Base hourly rate: $35.00-$40.00.
