HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Automotive Customer Relationship & Communication
  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, delivery issues, and concerns.
    • Maintain close communication with customer personnel to understand forecasts, requirements, and changes, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
    • Proactively address late deliveries, logistics complaints, and performance issues raised by the customer.
• Order & Delivery Management
  • • Review monthly and weekly customer forecasts and orders to accurately translation into production and shipping plans.
    • Prepare, maintain, and execute delivery and shipping plans to ensure timely and accurate shipments, including ASN and invoicing accuracy.

• • • Coordinate shipment methods and carrier details with the shipping department including expedited freight as needed.
    • Track delivery performance by managing customer scorecards, with a goal of achieving 100% on-time delivery and customer conformance.
• System & Process Management
  • • Manage ERP system activities including order entry, customer profiles, pricing files, and delivery plan maintenance.
    • Oversee customer-specific systems and web-based portals, ensuring accurate data updates and compliance with customer requirements.
• Internal Coordination
  • • Communicate customer requirements, forecast changes, and delivery expectations across production, quality, logistics, and management teams.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery, inventory, and logistics issues and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Inventory, Quality, & Compliance
  • • Monitor and manage inventory levels across plant, third-party, and customer warehouses.
    • Support quality and compliance initiatives, including IATF 16949 requirements and continuous improvement efforts.

  YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and email.
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing customer service environment, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with EDI, inventory control, sales forecasting, and logistics preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all contacts, internal and external.
• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Experience using Plex, The Manufacturing Cloud, is a plus but not required.
