Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care unit (PCU) level nursing care with patient ratios of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when a tech is available)
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation for assigned patients
• Assist with unit procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Operate bedside vital signs equipment and document accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and interdisciplinary team members on a night shift team
• May be required to float to Med/Surg as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
• Telemetry interpretation skills required
• PCU level of care experience or higher (Med/Surg-only backgrounds will not be considered)
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
• No on-call requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing critical cardiac drips
• Hematoma management post-sheath removal
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented, communicative, and patient-centered approach
