Dark wood furnishings, leather lounge chairs, contemporary lighting and gorgeous bathrooms complete the newly renovated guest rooms, which also come with stunning city or river views.What you will have an opportunity to do:The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, the Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference roomsPerform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtraysGreet guests in a friendly mannerReport maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repairStock and maintain supply rooms, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as neededDeliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as neededWhat are we looking for?Someone who is at least 18 years of ageSomeone who can accurately follow instructions, both verbally and writtenSomeone who is highly detail orientedSomeone comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentSomeone with excellent communication skillsSomeone who thrives in working in a teamwork environmentSomeone with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysSomeone who is a problem solverSomeone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsSomeone who is comfortable with being on their feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.Someone who is comfortable with being able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.Someone who is able to bend, squat, push and pull frequentlyCompensation:$22 - $23.01Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
