Food Service Worker (32hour/9month)
The Food Service Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive support in customer service and food preparation in varying types of food service operations. This role ensures high standards of sanitation, safety, and customer satisfaction while adhering to University Housing and Dining (UHD) policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include serving high-quality food products, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines, and adhering to University policies regarding time and attendance, training, and compliance.
Required qualifications include experience working and preparing food in a restaurant, commercial, or institutional facility, experience with operating standard kitchen equipment, and the ability to complete and maintain Food Safety Training required by University Housing and Dining.
The salary range is $18.00 per hour + depending on qualifications. Uniforms and/or personal protection equipment (furnished) may be required, and the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete testing for strength and agility prior to employment.
