Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in postpartum care. The assignment is for 13 weeks with no call requirements. The shift will be from 19:00 to 07:00. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, depending on patient acuity. The unit specializes in caring for postpartum patients and their newborns. Key responsibilities include performing non-stress tests, managing hyperemesis, and administering insulin and magnesium drips. Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to providing high-quality care. Applicants should be familiar with electronic medical records systems. A collaborative team environment is emphasized on the unit. Candidates with previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience are preferred. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
