• Position : Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric
• Facility Name : Bowen Health Psychiatric Hospital
• Address : 9 Pequignot Dr, Pierceton, IN 46562
• Contract duration: 6 weeks with possible extension
• Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts, Weekend as needed
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral status.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, including oral and injectable medications, and observe for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient and staff safety.
Monitor patients' mental status, behavior, and response to treatment, documenting observations accurately and timely.
