Diesel Mechanic Macon, GA | $19.00+/hr

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Diesel Mechanic in Macon, GA . In this hands-on, full-time role, youll be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered machinery and heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking for a consistent MondayFriday schedule and you do not need to provide your own tools!

In a Diesel Mechanic job youll be responsible for:

? Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out parts
? Operating and inspecting machines and heavy equipment to diagnose defects
? Testing mechanical products and equipment after repairs or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications
? Cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance on equipment
? Troubleshooting mechanical issues and completing necessary repairs to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently

What youll need:

? 24 years of diesel mechanic or related mechanical experience
? Experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment or machinery
? Ability to diagnose mechanical defects and troubleshoot equipment
? Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
? Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
? Your own tools are NOT required!

Perks:

? $19.00+/hr, based on experience
? MondayFriday, 6:00 AM until finish, typically 3:004:00 PM
? No personal tools required
