Pest Service Technician

Overview Clark Pest Control, established in 1950, protects homes and environments across California and northwestern Nevada. Responsibilities Control pests, weeds, and perform lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care, and other agricultural tasks on residential accounts. Inspect residential structures to determine pest presence, infestation severity, and structural damage. Create diagrams and graphs indicating type, degree, and location of infestations. Discuss work plans and provide sales solicitations to residential customers. Coordinate activities with branch personnel and submit daily paperwork and collections. Perform administrative tasks as directed, including ordering equipment, compiling reports, and calling customers for callbacks. Determine costs, estimate crew time, and schedule work. Account for company funds collected during business activities. Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times. Adhere to physical job requirements, including ladder use, lifting, working in all weather, and standing for extended periods. No prior experience required; on‑job training provided. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within 90 days (company paid). Ability to work independently in the field and manage route‑based assignments. Meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties as listed. Physical Job Requirements Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work in all types of weather conditions. Stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift, and carry for extended periods (including crawl spaces, attics, and basements). Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics.
