Experienced Maintenance Technician – Columbus, OH
Location: Columbus, OH 43204
Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Columbus, OH.
We are looking for a skilled maintenance professional who can hit the ground running and handle apartment maintenance, resident work orders, and make-ready needs with minimal supervision.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
- Perform apartment make-readies and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issues
- Complete unit turns and punch-list items
- Maintain common areas and property grounds
- Respond to resident requests professionally and efficiently
- Identify maintenance issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop
Qualifications:
- Apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of general apartment repairs
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and painting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service skills
