Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)This position encompasses responsibilities in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and recovery. The nursing staff will be crucial in providing high-quality care to patients during their maternity journey.Position DetailsShift: Nights, every third weekendExpectations to float to the medical-surgical floor when there are no obstetric patientsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide care and support to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.Assist and float to medical-surgical units as needed based on patient census.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license.Experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care preferred.Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to adapt to varying patient care needs.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.Join our dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns.
