Java Backend Developer

Job TitleLocal candidates only.Job DescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for:Working with stakeholders to gather requirementsDeveloping, testing, and deploying APIsWriting tested, idiomatic, and documented Java codeCooperating with the front-end developer in the process of integrating the RESTful APICommunicating with external web servicesProducing, maintaining, and modifying REST APIsEnsuring APIs are developed using industry standard best practicesFixing any issues or bugs that ariseRequired Qualifications2+ years of software engineering experience with web application development2+ years of Java development experience2+ years of Java micro services experience2+ years of Spring/SpringBoot experience2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful application program interface (API)2+ years of cloud computing experience/PCF/Azure/AWS2+ years of prior experience working in the banking domain2+ years of MQ series or Kafka messaging experience2+ years relational database management system (RDBMS) experience2+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra2+ year of experience with BDD development1+ year of Splunk log monitoring, APS tools like NewRelic, Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic Stack etc.
