We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Abington Park Vets on a full‑time basis. Part‑time applications will also be considered. Abington Park Vets is a well‑equipped, modern referral hospital offering an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist surgical environment. Based across our Moulton and Abington sites, this role sits within our surgical referral team, working closely with experienced surgeons and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Our hospital is equipped with advanced facilities including CT, MRI, and a fully equipped in‑house laboratory supported by a dedicated lab technician. With a busy and varied caseload including complex orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures, this is an ideal environment for nurses looking to develop and refine their skills in surgical and anaesthetic nursing. Practice Highlights Modern referral hospital with a specialist surgical focus Role based across our Moulton and Abington sites Advanced facilities including CT, MRI and a fully equipped in‑house laboratory Varied surgical caseload including complex orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures How You’ll Make a Difference As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. Working Pattern 40 hours per week 5‑day working week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm 1 in 8 Saturday morning rota No out‑of‑hours or bank holiday requirements General Responsibilities Deliver high standards of nursing care within a surgical referral caseload Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring, theatre nursing and scrubbing in Prepare surgical kits and maintain theatre sterility and equipment standards Provide excellent peri‑operative and inpatient care, ensuring patient safety and recovery You Might Be a Great Fit If… We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care.
