Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill adult and geriatric ICU patients, including ventilator management with Servo/Hamilton systems
- Monitor patient status, interpret rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV insulin protocols; manage central lines/PICC as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Work, Rapid Response) and document care in Epic
- Maintain ICU standards of infection control, ventilator care, hemodynamic monitoring, and care planning

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 3 years current ICU experience; adult/geriatric population; travel experience preferred
- Proficiency in rhythm interpretation and ability to pass hospital proctored/Relias EKG testing
- Mechanical ventilation experience (Servo/Hamilton); central line/PICC care; blood product administration; HFNC
- Vaccination: Flu vaccine or documented exemption; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Residency/float requirements: must reside beyond 50 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY; counties include Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster; ability to float within ICU as needed

- Pre-approved time off: up to 2 shifts per contract
- Compliance prerequisites completed prior to orientation (Healthstream modules)
