Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Clinic

Position Overview
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our collaborative team committed to helping children reach their full potential. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with a range of developmental and sensory challenges, supporting their growth in functional independence and participation in daily activities. You will partner closely with families and an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and developmental progress.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Deliver direct therapy using evidence-based practices that promote meaningful participation in daily life.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
Provide parent and caregiver education to support carryover of therapeutic strategies at home and in the community.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, session notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
Stay current with best practices, research, and innovations in pediatric occupational therapy.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Education : Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure : Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Indiana.
Certification : NBCOT certified Occupational Therapist (OTR).
Experience : Pediatric experience preferred; open to new graduates with a strong passion for working with children.

Key Skills

Solid understanding of sensory integration, motor development, and early childhood milestones.
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and organizational abilities.

Work Environment

Services may be provided in a clinic setting, schools, or via teletherapy, depending on client needs.
