\nSummary: ATS is seeking NDT experienced Maritime NDT UTSW Tech to support our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs. Additional certs preferred. Must be local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate. This is a permanent position with benefits and a pay range of $30 to $35+ per hour based on experience and certs held. Travel includes SoCal up to Oakland/SF area.\n

\n
• The Maritime NDT Level II Tech will be responsible for supporting customers and projects in the field while conducting NDT in most methods.
\n
• All NDT Techs will collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency.
\n
• Maintain and report test results.
\n
• Complete reports and documentation as required.
\n
• Must be able to read technical documents and engineering specifications.
\n
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
\n
• Work safely; maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
\n
• Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
\n
• Ability to use computers for data entry.
\n

\nPassport and TWIC in hand preferred or ability to obtain these important documents promptly.\n
\n

Work Conditions: \n

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
\n
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
\n
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
\n
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
\n
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
\n
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
\n
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
