Maintenance Mechanic

Schedule Weekdays only with call coverage required. Responsibilities Perform basic operational duties including repairs, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and troubleshooting equipment in the general maintenance field. Provide advanced work in specialty areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and maintain all refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Provide on‑call assignments as needed, with a 30‑minute response time to hospital grounds upon notification. Graduate of a 2‑year college with courses in refrigeration and air‑conditioning maintenance preferred. HVAC certification strongly preferred. EPA Universal certification preferred. Handle with Care training required within 1 year of hire. Previous experience in blueprint reading and commercial plumbing and electrical applications required.
