Long-Term Care (LTC)/Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Requirements: Minimum 1 year of OTA experience LTC or SNF experience required Active Missouri OTA license required New graduates accepted if they have completed a Level II clinical rotation (Level I observation only is not accepted) Job Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation programs. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Document treatments accurately in the electronic medical record. Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans. Participate in care meetings and required training. Follow all state licensing, NBCOT, and AOTA practice standards.
