Position Overview We are enthusiastic about welcoming a skilled and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our expanding imaging team. You'll leverage advanced ultrasound technology to execute a variety of diagnostic procedures, working in synergy with colleagues who prioritize patient care, ultimately helping to ease patient anxiety through timely and precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each step.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical systems.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.
- Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or comparable certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- High-level technical skills in ultrasound imaging and patient positioning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
